The Larry Sanders Show - Wu-Tang Clan (1998)

Speaking of Wu-Tang (well, RZA et al anyway). In case you don’t remember Hank’s classic line here, I won’t spoil it for you.

What a great show this was. Right as Seinfeld was running out of steam, Larry Sanders kept getting smarter. And, funnier. And, even more painful.

Great show, excellent cast. And not a Puerto Rican Day Parade in sight.

I have this scene burned into my brain. My people, I implore you: if you won’t listen to me, will you listen to Merlin? This show was as close to perfect as it gets, and if the first five seasons don’t convince you of that, the last one will make it all worth the ride.

“What up HANK. A’ight. Ballplaya.”

Complete series box comes out November 2. I almost cry every time I look and see that it’s for real.

Featuring guest dropins from Joshua Malina and Scott Thompson. Absolutely delightful.

Hank’s Lookaround Caffe. Let’s preserve the integrity of an incredibly well crafted and tragically short lived bit.

Possibly the best TV...ever. Hank’s revolving restaurant? Goldmine.
